Most PuzzleToolbox tools run in your browser. You do not need an account to use the solvers, guides, or editable puzzle inputs.
Updated: May 27, 2026. Puzzle content should stay editable and under your control unless you choose to send feedback.
Browser-based puzzle input
Puzzle text, board cells, word lists, nonogram clues, substitution maps, and uploaded images are used to calculate the result you see on the page. The current tools are designed so the core solving workflow can run locally in the browser.
Image-assisted tools should be treated as drafts. The detected letters or cells stay editable so you can correct the result before solving.
Images and OCR assets
The word search OCR tool loads its OCR engine and English language data from this site before recognition starts. The engine data is separate from your uploaded image. The Block Blast screenshot tool estimates board cells and asks you to review them before solving.
If PuzzleToolbox later adds voluntary failure-sample collection, the page will ask before sending a screenshot or puzzle sample for debugging.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled, PuzzleToolbox may record anonymous events such as the tool used, result counts, solve success or failure, and basic browser performance states. These events are not intended to include puzzle text, uploaded file names, word lists, or full board contents.
Advertising and cookies
If advertising is enabled, ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Advertising scripts are only loaded when the site owner configures them. You can use browser settings or extensions to limit cookies and tracking.
Feedback you choose to send
If you send feedback by email, the message may include whatever details you add. Use only the puzzle details needed to reproduce the issue, and remove private or sensitive content before sending.

Do I need an account to use PuzzleToolbox?
No. The puzzle solvers, guides, and editable inputs can be used without creating an account.
Are uploaded images automatically collected?
No. Image tools are designed around browser-based recognition and editable drafts. If sample collection is ever added, it should ask before sending a screenshot or puzzle sample.
What should I avoid sending in feedback?
Do not include private puzzle content, filenames, screenshots, or personal details unless you are comfortable sharing them by email.
