Block Blast

Block Blast Screenshot Tips

Updated: May 23, 2026. The Block Blast Screenshot Solver works best when the board image is clear, straight, and easy to inspect.

Image detection saves typing time, but it can miss a cell. Check the editable board before solving.

Best screenshot setup

After detection

Compare the detected board with your actual game before selecting Find best moves. Pay special attention to corners, cells near recently cleared rows, and dark theme screenshots where empty cells may look filled.

If a recommendation cannot be placed in the game, the most likely cause is one incorrect cell or a mismatched piece shape. Correct the board, check all three pieces, and solve again.

When manual entry is faster

If the image is blurry, cropped, or heavily tilted, manual entry may be faster than correcting many detection mistakes. Use the standard Block Blast Solver when you can recreate the board quickly by clicking cells.

Strategy after upload

Once the board is correct, read the result as a sequence rather than one isolated move. The best first placement should keep the remaining two pieces playable and avoid splitting empty space into small islands.

Phone screenshot checklist

Before uploading, confirm that the screenshot shows the latest board state after any line clears. If you solved a move, cleared a row, or received a new piece set, capture a fresh image instead of reusing an older screenshot.

Also check that the three current pieces are entered manually after detection. The image helper focuses on the board grid; the move ranking still depends on the exact visible pieces you choose in the dropdowns.

When results still look wrong

Check the board from top left to bottom right. Toggle any filled cell that should be empty, then toggle any empty cell that should be filled. After that, compare the first recommended placement with the game board before committing the move.

Common questions

Does the screenshot solver replace manual checking?

No. Screenshot detection speeds up board entry, but you should still correct any cell that does not match the game.

What image works best?

Use a clear, straight screenshot or photo where the full 8x8 board is visible and not covered by fingers, buttons, or glare.
